Site Selection and Development

Tamarack Energy seeks to leverage the characteristics of each of our sites to develop high-value projects. Based upon individual project requirements and using our development experience, Tamarack Energy evaluates potential locations for energy project development suitability and the most appropriate technology applications. Tamarack Energy seeks greenfield and brownfield sites appropriate for energy project development, identifies the property owners, initiates contact, and negotiates appropriate site-control agreements.

Evaluation of Project Feasibility

A critical component of developing any project is the evaluation of the various resource inputs which help make a project economically viable. Tamarack Energy has experience conducting site surveys and has developed sophisticated technical and financial models that facilitate the reliable and efficient evaluation of project alternatives

Design, Siting/Permitting and Technical Configuration

Tamarack Energy evaluates site-appropriate technologies and works to design the optimal technical solution. Recognizing the critical importance of proper siting and successful permitting, our staff has significant experience in permitting energy projects. Our engineers provide the appropriate level of design analysis to assure that the equipment configuration is capable of functioning throughout the operating conditions required to meet the goals and objectives of our projects.

Commercial Structure Analysis

Our project development experience includes stand-alone project-financed entities, projects financed by major equipment vendors, and those supported by public bond issues. Tamarack Energy is capable of arranging the optimal ownership structure, along with all of the supporting agreements, documentation and evaluation studies required to successfully finance a project.

Project Agreement Negotiation

Our project development experience includes the drafting and negotiation of the commercial and technical components of Site Leases and Easements, Electrical and Gas Interconnection Agreements, Fuel Supply Agreements, Equipment Supply and Construction Contracts, and Operations and Maintenance Agreements. Tamarack Energy has also designed and implemented holistic public communications and outreach efforts aimed at gaining local project support.
